Join Austin Music People (AMP) for the presentation of their 2015 white paper on the State of the Austin Music Industry on Wednesday, July 29 at 3pm.  The presentation will be held at Holy Mountain, located at 617 East 7th Street in the heart of the city’s Red River Cultural District. 

The AMP Biennial White Paper: 2015 offers specific recommendations for actions that city and community leadership can take to support the Austin music industry. The document draws select data and best practices from a variety of primary research sources and features commentary by industry experts representing major local festivals, live music venues, music business professionals, and working Austin musicians.  This comprehensive sector analysis was researched and produced with the generous support of GSD&M.

The event is free and open to the public.  No RSVP is required. A comprehensive assessment of the Austin music industry will be done annually and a new white paper presented by AMP every two years  The next white paper will be published in 2017.
