Members of Evolve Austin joined the American Institute of Architects Austin chapter in an all-day charrette designed to bring design and development professionals together to test the draft code. Architects, landscape architects, urban designers, land use professionals and developers teamed together to approach different zoning areas in test sites around the city.

The AIA hosted an Open House at the conclusion of the charrette, which was attended by the Mayor, Council Members and members of the public interested in seeing the results of the study. The AIA will issue a report of discoveries and recommendations based on the day's work.
